Nereus has held the First Nereus Science Meeting at University of British Columbia in Vancouver. All fellows and PIs (including NF representatives) gathered and discussed how to save the future ocean.  The program also held a symposium at AAAS, titled Predicting Future Ocean - Nereus Program.  The story was covered by AAAS Live Chat.
