Nereus’s Colette Wabnitz (University of British Columbia – UBC), Vicky Lam (UBC), Tyler Eddy (University of South Carolina), Henrik Österblom (Stockholm University) and others will attend the ‘IMBeR Future Oceans 2 – Ocean sustainability for the benefit of society: understanding, challenges and solutions’ Conference in Brest, France on June 17-21, 2019. The conference is based around the following three interlinked themes:

1. Understanding and quantifying the the state and variability of marine ecosystems;

2. Improving scenarios, predictions and projections of future ocean-human systems at multiple scales;

3. Improving and achieving sustainable ocean governance.
