Numerous Nereus Program researchers and associates will be attending the UN Conference to Support the Implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 14 on June 5-9, 2017 at the UN Headquarters, New York.

The Conference will bring together governments, the United Nations system, NGOs, the private sector, international financial institutions, philanthropic organizations, and other stakeholders to build partnerships in implementing SDG 14. It will be held with a special event commemorating World Oceans Day.

The Nippon Foundation-Nereus Program will be hosting a side event at the conference on June 9 from 5:00pm to 6:30pm on the topic of “The Role of the Oceans in Sustainability: Benefits of Achieving SDG 14 for all Sustainable Development Goals” in room 6 .
