Nereus research fellow Kisei Tanaka (Princeton University) will be starting a position as Research Scientist in the Conservation & Science department at Monterey Bay Aquarium in August 2019. At Monterey Bay Aquarium, Kisei will be involved in a variety of research programs that focus on historical ecology, climate change, fisheries, protected species, spatial ecology, and ecosystem sciences on a global scale. He will also investigate climate and human impacts on the California marine ecosystem by focusing on a variety of local marine flora and fauna.
