Thirty seven short presentations of research fellows describing their work have been posted on YouTube as a companion to Nereus Program’s “Predicting Future Oceans” book. The videos are an encapsulation of a decade’s worth of ocean research performed by Nereus Program members, with each one presenting the book chapter they authored at the 2019 Nippon Foundation Nereus Science Conference. This is the first time that a scientific research book has been published with accompanying presentations freely available to the public, specifically aimed to increase accessibility. The presentations cover a myriad of ocean topics, such as the International Law of the Sea, ocean governance, equity, biodiversity, conservation, ecology, climate change, fisheries management, and many more! You can access and watch the series of videos here.
